HHS Estate Transitions has been serving Crystal Lake and McHenry County since 2014. For over a decade, we've helped local families and businesses prepare properties for listing, clear estates, and move through life's transitions with less weight on their shoulders.

We're a family business, and this work is personal to us. We've gone through our own generational transitions of homes and belongings - the sorting, the deciding, and the letting go - and we've felt firsthand what it costs, physically and emotionally, to do it alone.

That's exactly why we built HHS the way we did: so no family in our community has to carry that weight by themselves.

From the first walkthrough to the last item handled, we take on the parts of a transition that feel overwhelming - clearing, repairing, and deciding what's next - so families can focus on what matters most.

Every generation hands something down to the next. We believe turning the page doesn't mean leaving anything behind. What matters most travels forward with the people who loved it, and everything else finds a new place to be needed.

Estate sale companies typically take 35-50% of what sells. We don't think a family should have to give up that much, or wait that long, to move forward. So we built our business around a direct offer instead - one conversations, one fair number, no commission. It's a different model because we think families deserve a more direct path.
